Last updated: April 25, 2026
1. Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or using SkillVerify, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use SkillVerify. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these terms on your behalf.
3. Assessment integrity
You agree to take assessments honestly and without assistance from others, AI tools, or external references during the timed quiz. Certificates issued based on dishonest attempts may be revoked. We reserve the right to audit unusual score patterns.
4. Certificates
A certificate is issued when you score 70% or above on an assessment. Certificates reflect your performance at the time of the assessment. They are not guarantees of employment or professional qualification. SkillVerify is not responsible for how employers interpret certificates.
5. Payments
Assessments are free for all candidates. Employer plans are billed monthly and can be cancelled anytime; no prorated refunds are provided for partial months. If a technical error on our part prevents you from completing an assessment, we will ensure a free retake is available.
6. Prohibited conduct
You must not: (a) attempt to reverse-engineer or extract the question bank, (b) create multiple accounts to circumvent rate limits, (c) misrepresent another person's certificate as your own, (d) use automated tools to take assessments, or (e) interfere with the service's infrastructure.
7. Intellectual property
All content on SkillVerify — including questions, designs, and code — is owned by SkillVerify or its licensors. You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that certificates will be accepted by any employer or institution. Assessments test knowledge at a point in time and may not reflect current industry standards.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SkillVerify shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Bangalore, Karnataka.
